Brass Lessons

If we have liaised with your school to provide lessons and you have received a letter, read about us in a school newsletter or we have provided a demonstration in an assembly then please read on…
There are places available for your child to learn to play the trumpet and cornet in school. As a primary teacher my strength is in encouraging young people to take up brass and motivating them to keep learning. I have the patience to adapt my lessons to suit every individual – learning is inspiring and pupils grow in confidence as they progress. Music has so many benefits and helps with stress, concentration, and memory skills. Lessons are sociable and fun and we play a variety of music. We often perform to others in the school and to families and there are opportunities to play in a band or orchestra.
All ages from Y1 to Y6 are catered for, with each lesson tailored to the ability of each pupil. Instruments can be hired for a very reasonable price from the Music Hub or there are options to buy either new or second-hand instruments. Plastic trumpets are a cheaper option and lighter to hold for younger children.
If you are interested then please get in touch here so I can send further details.
